Whatcom entrepreneurs inspire youth to work hard, seek meaningful careers
Whatcom Business Alliance’s Youth Engagement Initiative launched in February 2018 with presentations from four Whatcom County business founders and entrepreneurs.
In front of 300 youth at Bellingham Technical College, Kevin Menard of Transition Bikes, Anne-Marie Faiola of Bramble Berry, Erin Baker of Erin Baker’s Wholesome Baked Goods, and Mike Andes of Augusta Lawn Care Services shared their own experiences with entrepreneurship in Whatcom County and encouraged the students to work hard, be diligent and seek out the type of work that matters to them as they establish their career paths.
