Privacy Policy

Who we are
Whatcom Business Alliance understands that the key to a robust local economy is the availability of a skilled workforce.
With that in mind, WBA launched the Youth Engagement Initiative (YEI) in 2018 to help prepare the emergent workforce and to connect them with local employers.
Under the Youth Engagement Initiative umbrella, a YES Whatcom campaign was created to raise awareness of career options, hands-on learning experiences, paid internships and apprenticeship programs that are available at Whatcom organizations.
The YES Whatcom awareness campaign, and this website, create space for families, educators, businesses and policy-makers to align with a common goal: To connect youth with local careers while also contributing to the local economy in positive ways.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Analytics
Google Analytics is installed on this site to track user interactions. Google Analytics uses cookies for this purpose. Here’s a bit of info from Google on how the Analytics platform uses cookies:
“Google Analytics is a simple, easy-to-use tool that helps website owners measure how users interact with website content. As a user navigates between web pages, Google Analytics provides website owners JavaScript tags (libraries) to record information about the page a user has seen, for example the URL of the page. The Google Analytics JavaScript libraries use HTTP Cookies to “remember” what a user has done on previous pages / interactions with the website.”
