As a dining room assistant at CHCC, you will help those we care for to get the nutrition they need to remain healthy and strong. This is an important role!
Responsibilities: You’ll transport residents to and from the dining room, prepare food for the elderly (such as cut meat) and serve beverages. You’ll also offer positive encouragement and friendly conversation to individuals during meal times.
Qualifications: You will need to have a positive working rapport with fellow staff members as well as patients and residents. We are looking for someone who can create and maintain a comfortable, warm and friendly atmosphere. Applicants for this position should be compassionate, have great communication skills and a pleasant, professional manner.
This is an entry-level healthcare role. CHCC will provide the training you need. Must have or be willing to obtain a food handler’s permit and obtain a Dining Room Assistant Certificate (training provided by CHCC).
Must be available to work the following shifts: Saturdays and Sundays, 6:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., or 3:45 to 7:30 p.m. Also, weekday evenings from 3:45 to 7:30 p.m.
