What makes us unique
Northwest Youth Services offers housing, street outreach, help finding a job or enrolling in school, connection to mental health services, support for LGBTQ youth, restorative justice for juvenile offenders, and referrals to other services in the community.
Since 1976, Northwest Youth Services has been the doorway to safety and the pathway to progress for thousands of young lives. Much has changed in our communities during those years. What has not changed is our commitment to supporting the uniqueness of each youth served.
On July 26, 2021, the Board of Northwest Youth Services adopted a new mission statement to drive our work, revised core values to anchor our actions, and an updated vision statement that centers young people in the creation of a just and liberated society. We are excited to continue to push ourselves and our community to fulfill these calls to action.

At Northwest Youth Services, we affirm youth experience and autonomy, as we work together to foster collective healing and justice, in order to dismantle the systems of oppression that perpetuate youth homelessness.
