- Backing is generally done on the floor and you might have to crawl around under looms to troubleshoot.

We are looking for an energetic person to join us in making handwoven rugs for the Interior Design Market.
Responsibilities include weaving, repairing minor loom glitches, finishing rugs and packing them for shipping. Our projects are custom made to order, making each unique and ever challenging.
We currently have a collaborative team who are dedicated to craftsmanship and making clients happy. We’re looking for a person with a strong work ethic who enjoys working solo in a small, fast-paced studio. You must be flexible as we all wear many hats in the studio including general cleaning and organization of the space.
Weaving is meditative work that requires a lot of hustle, frequently on a tight deadline.
This is a high skilled, manual labor job.
